Talked with my close Belizean friend today who lives in New Orleans with me whom I've known for years. Just told her about the move.

I absolutely, totally forgot that good friends of mine, Belizean friends, whom I used to work for in one of their Baton Rouge bars, now own a resort in Placencia.

How could I forget?

I plan to talk with them soon. And hopefully on and off throughout this whole process. Hopefully Wes and I can take them out to lunch or dinner and chat them up (Domenica?). Maybe even better, we cook and pair them a dinner.
